Delete your account

Two ways to permanently remove your Kaka Jobs account and all associated data.

If you can sign in

Fastest · Immediate

Sign in to your account, then go to Profile menu → Delete my account. You'll be asked to re-enter your password and type DELETE to confirm. Once submitted, your data is removed immediately.

If you can't sign in

Verified · Within 30 days

Submit a request below. We'll verify ownership (via reply-to email) before deleting any data, and complete the deletion within 30 days as required by data protection laws.

What happens to your data

Permanently deleted
  • Your account (email, password, name, phone)
  • Profile (skills, education, work experience)
  • Resume and profile photo files
  • Job applications & matches
  • Notifications and chat history
  • Saved jobs and preferences
Anonymised (PII removed)
  • Aggregated analytics events (your candidate ID is set to NULL — no link back to you)
  • Audit log entries (kept for compliance, but your identity is severed)
Retained briefly
  • Encrypted database backups (rolled off within 30 days)
  • Email-server delivery logs (purged on the email provider's schedule, typically 90 days)
SLA

Self-service deletion (signed-in): immediate.

Request-form deletion: within 30 days of receipt.
